Dragon 3560 T54E1 - Smart Kit "Black Label Series"

The T54 is a term for a short series of prototype tanks of American production from the post-war period. Prototypes of this car were made in the years 1952-1957. The car never entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single engine with a maximum power of 810 HP. The total length of the cart was 11.44 meters, with a width of 3.6 meters. The tank was armed with a single 105mm Bofors cannon and two 7.62mm and 12.7mm machine guns.

Work on prototypes of the American T54 tank began in the early 1950s. Their main goal was to mount a completely new turret with a 105mm gun on the chassis of the M48 Patton tank. A novelty was also the fact that two prototypes were equipped with an automatic loader, which was to perform the loader tasks. However, in the third prototype, this solution was abandoned. It is worth noting that there were three variants of the T54 tank: the T54 (the earliest version of the T140 gun), the T54E1 (the version with the T140E1 gun) and the T54E2 (the version with the T140E2 gun and without the automatic loader). Finally, work on the development of the design was discontinued in favor of the T95 tank, which, however, also did not enter mass production.
